Our professor tasked us to design a bridge capable of allowing boats to pass underneath using parts we could find in household objects.

MODIFIED BRIDGE
In project 1, we started looking at how we could modify footbridges into moving objects. Simply put, the more transformations the better. The bridge I designed is made up of a pulley system, a vertical screw, and a horizontal screw.
